More than just childcare.

WHAT WE BELIEVE.

At PLAY, we believe that children are capable, curious, and full of potential. Every child brings their own unique strengths, perspectives, and ways of exploring the world—and it’s our role to nurture that natural drive to learn.

We view play as the foundation of early learning. Through open-ended exploration, creative expression, and hands-on discovery, children develop not only cognitive skills, but also confidence, empathy, and a strong sense of self. Our approach is rooted in the belief that the process of learning is just as important as the outcome.

Our classrooms are designed to invite wonder and exploration, with environments that are calm, beautiful, and intentionally prepared to support deep engagement. We partner closely with families, recognizing them as a child’s first teacher, and work together to create a warm, inclusive community. We’re more than just day care, we are a space for your child to learn, grow, and thrive!

HOW WE TEACH.

Teaching begins with connection — strong, respectful relationships are the foundation for meaningful learning. Our educators take the time to truly know each child — observing their interests and responding with intention. Through this relationship-based approach, we create learning experiences that are both developmentally appropriate and deeply engaging.

Our curriculum is emergent and play-based, meaning it grows from the children’s own discoveries and curiosities. Rather than follow rigid lesson plans, we design flexible, open-ended invitations to explore—whether through messy sensory play, collaborative building projects, or nature-based exploration. Every area of development—cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and creative—is supported through hands-on experiences that are joyful and meaningful.

We don’t teach to a product—we teach to the process. By focusing on how children learn rather than what they produce, we foster creativity, independence, and critical thinking. Our educators are co-learners and guides, scaffolding learning while allowing space for children to take the lead and solve problems.

know us

The heart of PLAY is our team of dedicated, thoughtful educators. Each teacher brings their own blend of experience, curiosity, and care to the classroom, creating a space where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to explore.

All of our Lead Teachers hold at least a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field, reflecting our commitment to high-quality, developmentally grounded care. More than credentials, though, our educators are present, reflective, and deeply attuned to the children. They listen closely, observe with intention, and find meaning in the everyday moments of early childhood.

As a team, we value collaboration, ongoing learning, and the trusting relationships we build with families and one another. We’re proud of the work our educators do each day—and honored to share these early years with the children and families in our care.
